Award Package and Application

Where can I find my award package and review my original application?
To access your award package and grant agreement articles, login to http://www.firegrantsupport.com and select the sixth option on the left that reads "E-Grant Application." At the next screen, you will enter your username and password. You must type in the same username and password you used when you applied for your awarded SAFER grant.

Once you are logged in, the "Status" page will be the first screen that you see. On the right-hand side of the "Status" screen, you will see a column with the heading "Action." In this column's drop-down menu, you will see the option "View Award Package." Click on this link, it will direct you to your award package. Please print and read your award package and keep it in your grant file. Your award package provides you with information specific to your grant such as your period of performance.

Also, in the "Action" column, you will see "View Application," which will direct you to the application that you submitted during the application period. The Narrative and the Request Details sections of your application make up your scope of work.

How long is my grant's period of performance?
The period of performance (award start date and end date) can be found in Agreement Article 3 of your award package. Your department should execute the goals of the grant within the awarded period of performance.

Awardees under the Hiring of Firefighters Activity have a 5-year period of performance. Awardees under the Recruitment and Retention Activity have up to a 4-year period of performance.
